SPECIAL BEARINGS Bearings for Linear Guide Systems Field of Application: As a manufacturer of rollers for guidance systems (linear guides) WIB has worked together with customers on the development of several product ranges, supplying the best possible technical and commercial solution to each specific application. The parameters, such as the environment, the precision of functioning, the speed, the temperature, the load, the overturning moment, the boundary dimensions are decisive for defining the most appropriate design. The above parameters require specific solutions, where the rollers are to be adapted by choosing the Variable Parameters described in the Standard Bearings section and the Special Options described in the Special Drawing Bearings section. The following drawing shows an example of a roller with concave profile, integrated shaft and full complement ball bearing, specially designed for a guide system. Profiles B, C, D and E may be machined on the outside diameter of the outer ring or on the bore of the inner ring. They are mostly used on rollers for guide systems for the following applications:
