SPECIAL BEARINGS Bearings for Textile Machines
Field of Application: Textile machines are required to run at speeds which are regularly increased, and should be simple to maintain and economical to run. These requirements impose specific solutions, where the following parameters have to be optimized:
● Maximum speed ● Mounting and maintenance conditions ● Working precision ● Machine service life ● Loading Capacity ● Lubrication possibilities offered to the client ● Noise ● Protection against aggressive environments ● Weight
Only bearings specifically developed for each application will cope with the required specifications. With our wide experience in the field of choosing the Variable Parameters and the Special Options, WIB is in a position to offer the most appropriate solution.
The Examples shown on the following pages are the result of extensive development work and numerous trial runs carried out in co-operation with customers. It is through such joint effort that the quality of the final product has been improved to constantly meet the evolving market demand. All the Profiles have been used for textile machines.
Textile machines also use guidance and straightening systems with special bearings made by WIB and standardized bearings of the following types :
● Double row angular contact bearings
WIB is equipped with all the necessary tooling for the production of such bearings. The sales of some of these bearings are reserved to the designer of the system.
