Additional information

● The use of paired bearings is recommended if a very small axial clearance is required

● Increasing the radial clearance (C3, C4) leads to an increase of the admissible misalignment angle, which allows to absorb some misalignment

Non-standard radial clearances defined by WIB

Band Width

Mean Value

R (Regular)

6 µm
( < C2 )

The mean clearance value in mm must be indicated after the band width value R or L

L (Large)

10 µm
( > C2, < CN )

Example
●
R28 à radial clearance between 25 and 31 µm (25 +31)/2=28

● L15 à radial clearance between 10 and 20 µm (10 +20)/2=15

Value

Standard

Void

Resulting from the radial clearance and the internal standard construction

Specific

X followed by the maximum clearance value

May be obtained by modifying the internal bearing construction. The limit value will depend on the radial clearance
